Sorrowful and St. Gianna Lily of the Valley Ornament set

I’ve found that sorrow and joy collide on the holidays. Some people hide it, others let it flow out in tears. And sometimes we have no idea how to comfort those who are struggling during what is supposed to be the happiest time of the year. I know how it feels to be the sad one.

I am comforted by our Blessed Mother and her tears. I ask her to take my tears and use them to bring me closer to her son. I am also comforted by the prayers of our sweet Saint Gianna, one of my favorite saints. You see, these ornaments were created for two reasons - to comfort the sorrowful and to remember Saint Gianna and Our Blessed Mother. The Lily of the Valley represents the tears of Mary and it was also Saint Gianna’s favorite flower. This has quickly become one of my favorite flowers as I have special devotions to both our Sorrowful Mother and Saint Gianna.

Through my creation of these ornaments, I’ll be praying for all of you who feel the tug of sadness and sorrow and loneliness over the next few weeks. May peace reside in your heart and may our Sorrowful Mother and Saint Gianna bring you closer to Jesus every day.

Each one is hand textured with the beautiful Lily of the Valley flower. The green and white ones are finished in a shimmery coat which is hard to depict in pictures. Comes in sets of 2 or 4.
